Michelle Wilson writes inspirational nonfiction. She is the author of DOES THIS INSECURITY MAKE ME LOOK FAT? and THE BEAUTIFUL BALANCE: CLAIMING PERSONAL CONTROL AND GIVE THE REST TO GOD, and THE PERFECT MOM.
Michelle loves faith, family, food, and smiling. She is an expert at Guitar Hero, has a bad habit of laughing at the wrong times, and hates writing about herself in third person because it's just weird.
We women can be hard on ourselves, our own worst critics. I don't have a Pinterest-worthy home. I eat ice cream out of the carton with a fork when I'm stressed. Laundry is my nemesis. I'm bad at math. And I'm far, far from perfect- as anyone who knows me will attest.
But I also celebrate the reality of a powerful God that makes me more, and the power within each of us to be awesome. We really are stronger than we know, more valuable than we realize, and doing so much better than we give ourselves credit for. That's what I write about: peace, strength, choice, perspective--all the things God has given us to not only be happy, but do the work He's called us to. We need Him, and He needs us. It's a beautiful relationship indeed!
