I write Women's Fiction under the pen name M.E. Wilson because initials make me sound smart.
My stories are different and quirky, but they all live happily ever after because sad endings are lame.
THE RISE OF ADDIE MOON: In final editing and submission to agents.
When Addie Moon, a twenty-nine-year-old Seattle travel agent who's afraid to fly, unwittingly becomes engaged to the man she was trying to dump, she finds herself on a life-changing--literally--path where is forced to choose between an immortal life of glory with a genie she doesn't love or a mortal life and rejection from the man she does. Though love plays a role, Addie's story is one of choice, courage, and the power within. And it's kind of funny. :)
TILLY'S PLACE: Current WIP.
Tilly Mae is a funeral director . . . in heaven with small circle of friends. June Clementine is a thirty-year-old high school science teacher haunted by a hidden shame. When June dies and "wakes up" in Tilly's Place, it's just another day at work for Tilly, until June wills herself back down to earth without permission. Now Tilly must get certified to return to earth and bring June back, and June must fight to stay and right the wrong she'd done years before. And this one's kind of funny, too. :)
